Madara Uchiha had the sensation of plummeting. Even as he fell, there was no sound, or vertigo, simply the base understanding that he was falling. He had reclaimed his other Rinnegan at last, pressed it into his eye and sealed it back to his body, then ordered Zetsu kamui him back to the real world... The technique had triggered, but something went wrong. And then his feet hit ground, and suddenly everything snapped into focus. The forces driving through his body sent him to his knees, though his eyes were already scanning the area in front of him. Something had gone wrong, this was... this was not where he was supposed to be.
He knew he was not in a Genjutsu, he could feel his chakra was stable, as well as his Rinnegan meaning he could see through any Genjutsu that he was placed into. Staggering back to his feet, he let his eyes cast around him in a complete circle, he needed to find some way to get his bearings. Had Zetsu betrayed him?

He lifted himself from the ground, flying up into the air to get a birds eye view of the strange area he found himself in. A city that covered an incredible space, though at its greatest boundaries stood a wall of mist, thick and overbearing such that even his incredible visual prowess could not perceive anything through it. More pressing, he couldn't detect chakra anywhere in this world, barring his own. Sure, his eyes showed the people mingling in the streets below, but not one of them held the abysmal chakra he sought to purge from the world.

If he hadn't known better, he might have believed his plan had succeeded, though he hadn't yet completed his plan. He had absorbed the tailed beasts certainly, and reclaimed his rinnegan, though that was merely the first step. His hands curled into fists, the frustration apparent on his face. Perhaps if he had still held that traitorous Obito's eye, he might have had a way out of... whereever he was, but for the time being his eyes gave him no information.

Letting himself drop down into a surpisingly empty area, he glanced around himself. He couldn't say how long he would be here, so his best option was to prepare for the possibility of his remaining there for some time. Weaving the handseals of Tiger-Rat-Snake, focusing his immense chakra reserves into the task at hand. Within a mere moment, the ground beneath his feet rumbled and shook, a great noise coming as from the ground several feet in front of him sprang a massive tree, rocketing up to reach far into the sky. After a few moments, the great tree reached it's apex, and the growth stopped. He then sprang up to stand against the tree's trunk, clapping his hands together. A deep resonant groaning came from the boughs of the tree, as the inside was hollowed, split into holding a single great room inside its trunk. From there, a liberal application of chakra gave him basic furniture, just enough for him to be able to make the most use of the space he'd created.

With that done, it was one less thing for him to let his mind be held by, so he could set himself singularly to the task of information gathering. He had spent far too long planning his salvation of the world, to have it toppled by something so simple as him being physically displaced. He would have to find a way back...

Of course she could fly; she was after all a Goddess.

The the ability to do something did not however immediately lead to using that ability however. Seeing a man plummet to the ground only to rocket back up was not that honestly a terribly uncommon sight in this multi-nexus of universes. Gods, men, technology, Death herself walked these streets. A man who could fly one who could even shake the world to make himself a home that the Hub did not provide was...a Tuesday.

On the other hand she was curious about anyone that could summon power to create. The Goddess Adhira politely knocked on the tree door.

The sudden knock came as a surprise. Perhaps it should have been obvious that his actions would draw attention, but he certainly hadn't expected someone to walk up and knock on his door, at least not so soon. The pupil of his left eye dilated slightly as he threw a version of himself into the border realm, transposing it outside the tree. Invisible to the eye, the shadow could observe and even intervene in the real world, all the information that reached it's eyes also coming to his own.

Standing outside was a striking woman dressed in clothing unlike anything he'd seen before. It was unlikely she came to fight, why would she have simply approached the tree if she meant to do him harm? Still... old habits died hard, and he couldn't let himself be caught off guard. Summoning up his Truth Seeking Orbs, crafting one into the weapon he often favored, he let his eye invert his location with his border world shadow.

As a result, he appeared hovering in the air above and behind the woman. "What do you want?" he asked in a stern voice. He was confidant in his visual prowess, enough so that he doubted she could make any kind of move against him without him knowing before hand, but it never hurt to treat an unknown quantity with some measure of suspicion.

In the eons since leaving the universe she’d been created it, conquering, enlightening; Adhira had come across many different forms of ‘magic’, chi manipulation after all was simply a mortal Taking his personal engery and attempting to become divine.

It had been long milium since she was so diminished to be unable to see the world between worlds; and the in between spaces, times were where her power was strongest. Making eye contact with the shadow she smiled, “hello-“ she began, watching him move through the realms to teleport above her. “Nothing.” She answered. The smile crinkling her eyes seemed habitual; as though she always found the world amusing regardless Of what occurred.

“I am simply curious about your arrival.” She glanced at the tree with a chuckle,”Do you have a good realtionship with Death?” She asked seemingly appros of Nothing. Thinking how having an unplanned (or perpas not, for all Deaths protestations she was not Fate. The litteral embodiment of Death knew far more than even Adhira. So perhaps she would not be too put out by the tree where she usually rented space to the transitory inhabitants of Hub.)

Interestingly enough, as Madara cast his shadow into Limbo, he noted how the woman shifted her attention toward the shadow, as if she could see it. She then spoke directly to the shadow, which left him a little unsure of how to proceed. She could see into the Limbo dimension? She lacked the Rinnegan, so it was unlikely she would be able to see it for this reason, but that left him with few remaining options.

As he shifted to replace his shadow, manifesting in the same spot in the real world, he let his weapon point toward the ground in a non-threatening fashion. He wasn't about to pick a fight with whoever this was before he had an idea of who and what they were, but he wasn't about to cast his weapon aside until he had a better idea of them. His eyes cataloged every part of her body, the minute ways she shifted and moved, all without moving slightly.

Then came the question about Death. He kept his expression neutral, something he had honed during his long decades as a shinobi, though the question threw him off guard. He had known death so many times in his life, and it had claimed him once already, not counting the fatal wound he received from Hashirama in their fateful battle so many years ago...
"I have a relationship with Death, as does everyone who lives..." he gave by way of answer, deliberately keeping his answer vague. "What business is it of yours?"

Goddess of snakes, motherhood, lighting and the spaces between; everything about her would scream serpentine to someone of his training along with an ease in her body that bespoke either arrogance or simple knowledge of power.

For though she was no goddess of war she had conquered worlds, fought other gods, martial prowess was an old skill. She simply preferred guile before brute force.

A light chuckle met his suspicious question, “She owns the bazaar-“ her hand swept out to encompass the empty area that bled into the center main ‘city’ of Hub. “, at least as much as anyone does.”

The woman in front of him was clearly different than most he had encountered before, she exuded power though it wasn't immediately clear where that power came from. He had to be careful around this one, that much was obvious. Though as she brought up that Death allegedly owned the bazaar, his eyes cast out in the direction she was gesturing. Death had a physical presence in this world? He knew there were certain jutsu in his own world that could call upon the spirits of the dead, the Lord of Hell, or even the God of Death itself, himself being in possession of one and being the subject of another.

His eyes swept back to the woman, brushing some of his white hair from his face. "You seem to have an understanding of this place. Where is this? It is not my world clearly..." he released his weapon suddenly, which continued to hover by his side as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Perhaps you can steer me to how to return to my own world. I have matters to attend to there that cannot be delayed, or diverted." He'd spent far far too long planning this to allow it simply go to waste. He simply wouldn't allow his solution to disappear.

Adhira had no issue answering his questions, he was being a touch arrogant in his stance, but she cared little. “Most call it Hub. It is a space between spaces, a place where maybe worlds and universes meet.” Adhira turned toward the bazaar, “I’m sure you’ll eventually find a way home. Or to some universe close enough to your own.” The white and gold pleated saaree swirled around her legs, revealing the golden jewelry wrapped around her legs.

“What are you important plans?”

It was rather refreshing to have someone give a straight answer to his questions, the Shinobi world was so often full of such hatred and distrust that someone would say one thing and drive a knife into your ribs in the same instance. It was much of the reason he had conspired to end the world, and bring an end to the cycle of hatred that the endless conflicts perpetuated.

His eyes noted the golden jewelry on the woman's legs which led him to believe she must be of some degree of wealth. Normally if someone wasn't, but owned a trinket of wealth like them they would flaunt them, wear them on their arms or around their neck... but to have them relatively hidden was quite telling.

His gaze temporarily left her as she asked after his plans, his gaze taking in the area around them. Surely there were none eavesdropping or spying upon the discussion, so after a moment his gaze returned to the woman. "My plans are to bring about paradise, by ending the world and bringing war to an end." He wouldn't give specifics, such as that he was technically part way through his plan as he now hovered in front of her.

He sighed after a moment, his eyes closing as he considered his situation. "Will I at least know who I am speaking to?" he said after a moment, his eyes opening once again.

Wealth...yes, as mortals measured it she was very wealthy. She had conquered universes was a god across the stars, there was little she lacked the power or means to acquire.

“Ah the rule them all for their own good?” She commented casually, “who might I ask opposes you in your quest to ‘bring peace’?”

“Adhira.” When she spoke the name it held a weight. “And you?”

While Madara had never been a wealthy man, he'd been a man of considerable means regardless. He'd always had impressive chakra reserves, far more than the average person, and ever since he had become the Jinchuuriki of the Ten-Tails his power and chakra reserves had only grown. True, they weren't quite what he'd had during his time under the effects of the Edo Tensei, but that had its own downsides...

He shook his head at the woman's follow up. "I would not rule in this world. Each person on the planet would rule their own world as they wished, with everything they could want." He shook his head again, his long white hair shifting slightly. "Men and woman who are too naive or foolish to recognize when they are following a broken model of a shattered world."

He stopped, his hand releasing the weapon in his hand, which condensed back into an orb and joined the others behind his back. The woman gave a name, presumably her own, and the finality of her introduction seemed to insinuate she was used to it carrying weight. He felt the same thing in many ways, feeling his name alone could create chaos and disorder... and he was right... But Here it seemed to lack that same meaning.

"Madara, of the Clan Uchiha..." he gave by way of introduction.
