Victor Von Doom - “Uncle”
relationship status: Single
powers: Enhanced intellect: Dual personality. Victoria is able to think in parallel tracks, effectively making her two people within one mind. This extra thinking power allows her to self-collaborate to work through difficult problems, concentrate on multiple things at the same time, and resist psychic attacks by being able to overpower any invading mind.
strengths: Sorcery - Victoria was schooled, first by a few very minor Gypsy witches and later by her “Uncle” Victor, in the art of magic, becoming an accomplished sorceress, particularly in ice-based spells and earth-based magic.

Science - As the “niece” of Doctor Doom, Victoria was expected to apply her considerable intelligence to scientific pursuits, something that she excelled at. She is currently a capable engineer, though having much to learn, putting her more at a Hank Pym level than a Tony Stark level.

Cunning - One does not con one’s way into being accepted as the niece of Latveria’s ruler easily. Victoria is sly, a good and convincing liar, and utterly ruthless in applying her mind to a given task that she must accomplish.
weaknesses: Arrogance - One does not become the heir to Doctor Doom without learning that one is better than the masses. This has led her to underestimate people in the past.
Merinthophobia - Owing to experiments that were done to her and traumas visited upon her, Victoria is deathly afraid of being tied up or in any way bodily restrained.
Dual Personality – Have you ever had to argue with yourself to decide what to do? No, you haven’t, only Victoria knows what that’s like.
equipment: Amulet of Endless Winter - Artifact that Victoria won to her keeping, which acts as her magical focus granting particular strength in ice based magic.

Ring of Earthbinding - Magical focus of Victoria’s own creation, focusing her strength in earth or nature magic.

Power gauntlet - Designed by her Uncle to be similar to his own armor, Victoria possesses a gauntlet that grants her the ability to interface with technology and fire concussive blasts.

Power Armor - Functioning much like her gauntlet, the armor provides increased power and protection, although she rarely uses it.

Victoria was a mutant girl born in a Romani camp, a member of the Zefiro clan in rural Latveria. A naturally gifted girl, gifts only enhanced by her mutant ability, Victoria grew to hate her rural, quaint life, knowing that there was more that she could do. She had no interest in being a country girl, living a small life, marrying some farmer in a village that smelled like pig shit. No, she wanted more, and she was going to get it.

Her natural intelligence, enhanced by her mutant mentality, made her a natural student for the witch of her clan, who began to teach the girl practical earth magics, eventually moving on to more complicated matters as the girl displayed her hunger for knowledge and, quietly, power. It was during one of these lessons that her tutor revealed an interesting fact to her which set the cunning girl’s plans into development: Her tutor’s grandmother, the last elder witch of the clan, had been the same who had tutored Cynthia Von Doom. The girl filed that information away for later use.

Regardless of her feelings toward her life, it was her life… until it was stripped away from her. She didn’t know who the men were, nor did she particularly care. They were brutes, beating her father, having their way with her mother while she was bound to a chair, leering at her and promising that she’d have her turn if she was patient… or if she wasn’t, really. The girl didn’t know where the idea came from, except that it had been brewing in the back of her mind by that quiet, opposing voice that helped her weigh her options. In the little cabin, with her father bloody on the floor and her mother being savaged in the next room, Victoria snarled out the story that later became her mantra: They had better pray that they killed her, because she was the niece of Victor Von Doom, and her uncle would murder them for this offense.

The men froze at the invocation of the most feared name in the nation, unsure of how to proceed. It didn’t matter, though, because Victoria decided for them. Ice coalesced in the air in a spray of crystal shards, violently pinning one of them to the wall, tearing through the leg of the other one, but he managed to get away, running, bleeding through the snow. Victoria didn’t care. He could run, tracking his blood across the countryside until he was faint, she would track him down. She kept that thought in her mind as she froze the ropes solid, shattering them as she threw herself to the floor for the impact. She kept that thought in her mind as she followed the trail of frozen blood through the snow, she told herself that as she ripped the life from the man that had fled her, even as he begged forgiveness, pled his ignorance. She didn’t care. Her life would never be the same, and she knew it, and no matter how much she detested this little life… it had been her life.

The damage had, indeed, been done. Her parents both needed medical care, and the man’s ravings had been heard by the village. Word quickly spread, from neighbor to neighbor, to the hospital her parents were taken to, from person to person, spy to spy, bug to bug, until it reached the most dangerous ears to hear the bold lie she had told. It was, no doubt, a very uncertain moment for Dr. Doom right then. His name had been invoked by this strange girl in an audacious bid for her own life, and in most cases, that would have earned her death. However, his ire was tempered by the fact that she had actually pulled off her gambit successfully, ruthlessly killing the two criminals in an impressive magical display that left him very curious about her potential. Instead of killing her, he decided to legitimize her claim at relation to him, taking her in as his ward and heir. After all, heirs had their uses, and if she was a liability, he could always kill her. His longtime heir, Kristoff, had proven difficult, after all, and he needed a new one.

The next years saw Victoria going through a ruthless regiment of magical and academic study, lessons set at her new uncle’s demanding pace and being administered by sorcerors in fear of him or Doombots programmed by him. By her eighteenth birthday, the lessons began to include experiments, with her body augmented to better accept the armor that he made and her soul warded to allow her better access to magical talent. She spent nights hooked to electrodes, stimulated with electricity, or heat, or cold, or any number of maddening or painful sensations, sleepless save for a few hours of unconsciousness, but in the end, she rose against the pain, against the indignity, grasping for that result at the end that she knew would be hers.

To the public, she was his loving niece, popular on the television, a pretty face that Latveria sorely needed, standing firm for the advancement of her people. She was brilliant, powerful, beautiful, the picture of hope for that country. In private, she and her uncle schemed what enemies would need to be removed, and what they would need to do to accomplish that. They worked on new spells together, perfected his technology together, built up a grand vision of Latveria at the head of the world. It would, she knew, be a brilliant future.

Finally, when she was twenty, she knew that she needed to take the chance. She didn’t put on the armor… no, that would have made him suspicious. He probably had it monitored, after all, but the gauntlet? She wore the gauntlet in public constantly now, that much was safe to use. She knew he didn’t suspect that there were a few Doombots that she had managed to infect with her own programming, hidden deep in their subsystems, waiting to overwrite their core directives. And so, in what was called later the Night of Thunder, fifteen Doombots awakened to a new master, or rather mistress. She was deep within the castle now, clad in a green cape and hood, her gauntlet, and ready for anything. By the time the alarm sounded, she had eliminated his personal guard and was approaching the throne room, the Doombot reinforcements cut off by ten of her own, the remaining five flanking her as she smashed her way into the room where her uncle sat waiting for her.

The battle was furious, with spell meeting spell, energy blasts detonating bombs, robots being destroyed, reformed, and destroyed again. Doom had taught her well, almost well enough. In the end, she found herself driven to her knees, the elder Doom standing over the niece that he had, in his own twisted way, developed a decided affection for. “I had to try,” she hissed through the pain, waiting for the blast to end her life. “I can’t kneel and crawl and expect everything to be handed to me.

“No,” he answered simply, “You can’t. You wouldn’t be a Von Doom if you did.” A glow slowly appeared above her, and as the world was lost to her, she just barely heard his words over the rush of magical energies. “Now… make Latveria proud.”

While admittedly quite a bitch, and while having been partly raised by Dr. Doom, Victoria is not necessarily evil. She’s done what she had to to survive, and for the survival of her country after that. She is somewhat morally ambiguous, but interested in those great minds that were lost to the Sentinels that she’s heard of. She’d love to get involved with… well, anyone interesting.
Let’s see if you can put up with her first, ok? She’s twice the woman that most people are used to dealing with, and not always nice.
